Aminga Malbec
Aminga Valley
Grown 1450m above sea level, this premium estate bottled Malbec is a stamp of quality available from the La Rioja area. Argentina’s flagship wine variety, is a natural partner with beef, another Argentine specialty. This one stood up nicely to an offbeat, aromatic preparation, seared mini-burgers with a light Indian-style curry-and-cumin sauce with rice.

Berry style fruit backed with a strong structure, this is everything Cab Sauv should be in South America. Picked as late as possible, it brings a hint of spice that would warm any palate looking for a rounded texture!

This clear, light-gold wine breathes good tropical-fruit aromas, fresh pineapple and ripe dates, carrying over on the palate with a bright and juicy flavour, medium-bodied, well structured with fresh-fruit acidity. Nina High Altitude Chardonnay

A wine with simplicity and elegance. The pale yellow colour brings with it a calssic citrus note that on the nose has hints of ripe pineapple. Not to be confused with light Chardonnay’s, this is a premium sily wine that has seen grapes mature on fresh and cool mountain breeze at 1450m above sea level. This high altitude allows it to ripen to offer a finish that brings hints of almonds.

Bottled at high altitude in selected plots, this Malbec is also bottled at source. The unique style lends itself well to On-Trade where a variety of dishes complement the wine well.

Rich in plum fruit, this wine is picked on certain plots of Aminga Valley located 1450m above sea level. A leading Malbec by design, this style is based more around premium French Malbec’s that demand a price that is twice as expensive. The finish keeps freshness and fruit with a medium length finish of elegant ripe plum and small hints of pepper.

Its complexity and boldness is coupled with a long elegant finish where true authentice Malbec gives the perfect expression. The exuberant nose of black fruits, spices, vanilla and coffee is only the beginning! Pleasure in a glass!

Nina Gold Petit Verdot

Giving notes of deep red fruit, this Petit Verdot is one of consistency year after year. Its dark, clean colour extends on the nose into ripe strawberry and raspberry with layers beyond that of tobacco and small hints of leather. The powerful finish is matched well by the elegant length.

Nina Gold Blend

Our Nina blend is a special wine using selected plots from the Aminga Valley of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Blends depends on the vintage style, but this year its a simple 60/20/20 split. The roundness of Malbec is complimented with structure from Petit Verdot to give a premium red blend that will age well.

Nina Gold Cabernet Malbec

This well crafted Cabernet Malbec blend is a complex wine of 2 different plots coming together to give elegance in a bottle. On the palate the red dark fruits of blackberry give a hint of spicy cherry with some herby tones. The finish is dry and soft that will almost certainly develop with age.

Nina Gold Torrontes

This Torrontes is considered one of the best whites from San Huberto family. Named after the Great Grandmother of the owners, this wine is very aromatic on the nose that when converted to the palate offers this beautiful rose petal note. Its bursting with fresh pineapple and banana on the palate adds to why this wine is considered one of the best.

Nina Gran Cabernet Franc
Lujan de Cuyo
Intense red colour, with violet highlights. A combination of complex aromas showing abundance of ripe red fruits, white pepper spices, and hints of chocolate and tobacco. All this is made possible by 9 months spent in French oak barrels. A well structured and full bodied wine, with rounded tannins that result in a persistent and long finish.

Nina Gran Malbec
Lujan de Cuyo
Made from a blend selected Malbec plots at over 1000m above sea level, this hand selected wine has 12 to 14 months of ageing in French oak and 12 months in the bottle. The result is perfect maturity, giving notes of tobacco, leather with dark fruit wines textures.

Nina Gran Petit Verdot
Lujan de Cuyo
This wine is bright purple in colour with aromas of ripe cherries, leather and tobacco. On the palate its full of plum fruit notes and smooth tannins.
9 months aged French oak barrels.

The People behind the wine
The Spadone family started the business in 1991 with projects to produce elegant wines that could be sold throughout the world. Now in over 30 countries, this same principles are applied that hold strong family values first seen at the beginning.
